I am a friend of Michelle Formanski/Marvin and she shared your site with me. I am so excited to follow you this year! If you need help at all or any advice with: Peru, Chile, Thailand, Cambodia or Vietnam, please just let me know. I have been to them all within the last 5 years (Chile was just this past Dec). I am excited to read about Tanzania, as I am going there next in May 2011. Safe Travels to you both!

Thanks Courtney! We will have our ‘site-specific’ email address up soon and when we do, feel free to contact us then. When we plan on getting to some of the locations you have already been to, we will be in touch on any advice you may have. Thanks!

Looks like a great plan; criss-crossing the globe. I hope all is set for departure this afternoon/evening. We will be following closely. (Jo actually saw the forms in her email this morning.)

    Bon Voyage!

You’d think a ‘Geographer’ would have all of this on Google Earth so we could all follow you around the globe…just a thought…have fun guys, be safe.

Hi guys! Wow! What an exciting year!! I just looked through the pics from the Avery wedding and Dana, there are some cute ones of us girls! However, they clearly will not compare to the beautiful scenery you’re viewing and posting. I wish you both health, happiness and safety on your journey!

    Hi Adam and Dana,

Looks like you two are off to a great start!!!! I’ll be checking in on you both via your website here and there…. Also just took a look at your itinerary for your trip– I’m very impressed. I would say if you can spend some extra time in Greece (yes I’m a biased Greek girl) but Greece is amazing! I went there with family growing up and we took a 5 say classical tour of Greece on a bus. We even got to go to Olympia and I took a run on the first Olympic Track ever. Yep, it’s dirt!! Lol. Anyway–It would be a cool thing to look into if you have the time. I’ll be praying for you both along your journey– remember to always trust your gut instinct.

    🙂 Be well. -Autumn

  8. Courtney Bacon says:

Can’t wait to read about Australia!! Take lots of pics of the Sydney Opera House please!!!!!!! My absolute favorite!

  9. Corinne Whitlatch says:

Dana, this is so amazing!! I am so happy that you guys have had an opportunity to do something that so many (like myself) can only dream of doing!!! In June, my parents and I will be heading to Zimbabwe to visit my sister, and I see that you guys went to some of the other countries all around there. Anything particular that I should do while we’re in Africa? We’re planning on not just staying in Zimbabwe the whole time but going to other nearby countries as well. Good luck with the rest of your travel!!
