Photo Essay: Botswana’s Chobe National Park

After a smooth transfer at the border of South Africa and Botswana, we had two nights of bush camping and arrived at the Chobe National Park for our sunset cruise. Here are some photos of our first contact with the real animals of Africa:

Monitor Lizard

Hippos hanging out

1 of over 50,000 Elephants residing in the Chobe National Park

Water Buffalo, one of the "Big 5" of African Animals

A Fierce African Crocodile

Elephants were EVERYWHERE!

The Wattled Crane

Hippo saying "Hello!"

The two of us hanging out with few elephants
